After some years in the UK health sector in a variety of LIS management and leadership roles, joined the University of Kent in 2011 where she successfully repositioned library services a trusted research partner. Set up an Office for Scholarly Communication aimed at evolving research support and with a radical focus on supporting Early Career Researchers, enabling multidisciplinary research and championing the inclusive research environment. Was awarded an Honorary Staff Associateship having left the Deputy Director role in spring 2021 to pursue new projects. Has been part of national and international working groups and projects. Holds an MSc in Information and Knowledge Management and completed an MBA in 2018 which led to an in-depth study looking at innovation and reinvention in UK and European academic libraries.
